We had a chance to test out the newest palette from indie beauty brand Deck of Scarlet - Edition No. 5. It comes with a variety of shadows, bronzer, highlighter, lip cremes, and pencils in natural tones, metallic shades, and pops of color. Get ready for some holiday fun.

We created 4 complete and different looks for your inspiration, starting with an everyday fresh and simple glow to evening sexy glam:

LOOK 1 - CHAMPAGNE GLOW

Use Proseco highlighter on the lids and cheeks for a rosy glow. Wing out the eyeliner with the Twilight pencil. Top it off with Pinky Promise lip creme lined with the Belle pencil.

LOOK 2 - MAUVE + MATTE

Brush Dusk bronzer onto crease for definition. Pat Dream all over the lid for a matte, nude look and blend into crease. Line lips with Belle pencil and fill in to create a chic, mauve lip.

LOOK 3 - PLUM PASSION

Use Twilight pencil to create a base on your eyelid. Apply Luna on top for maximum smokey purple impact. Blend out the edges of the crease with Dusk bronzer. Wear Pinky Promise on the lips and top it with clear gloss for a glassy effect.

Look 4 - POUTY IN PINK

Bronze it up by blending Dusk into crease and around the perimeter of the face. Wet eyeshadow brush with setting spray, dab into Gold Digger, and pat all over eye for maximum coverage. Line waterline with Twilight pencil for emphasis. Finish off with a coat of Sass Queen lipstick on the lips for a dramatic pout.

Overall, this palette surprised us with its quality and color choices. We were able to create multiple looks on
two different skin tones and both were gorgeous. Some stand outs – Prosecco absolutely glows on tan
skin as a highlighter. The Twilight pencil is super opaque and creamy, a great liner staple. Gold Digger
eyeshadow is so pigmented and so pretty on the eyes and perfect for the holidays. Sass Queen is such a stand
out bold lip shade that everyone should try. And one of the best parts of this brand? They're completely cruelty free and produced in US!
